Help! Slow LoL install time on my new Macbook Pro?

Heyyyyy! So I have a mysterious problem! I was able to download League of Legends on to my new Macbook Pro last night using my friend's internet connection, and it downloaded completely in under 30 minutes. Then later that night, for some reason, due to some problems with the client, I had to re-install LoL back onto my Mac with the internet connection at my house. Only except for this time, it has a ridiculously long and non-existing progression in the status of completion. I left it here overnight and woke up to it being at 13% completed, restarted the client, and now I'm back to it being at 1% for the past 30 minutes. It's still on step 1/2 of updating the interface.

How do I fix this?! It seems like League will never be downloaded at this rate.
