Drafting in low priority queue

So i was gonna play draft mode with my friend. She said she had the low priority queue and i was fine with that. ten minutes later after the w8 it tells us she doesn't have 16 champions. So we have to go blind pick and w8 another 10 minutes. so you know if you could put the 16 champion notification before the 10 minutes of waiting, cause now i've had to w8 twice for one game.
