To Everyone Who Says "There is always something you could have done"...

No... there is not always something you could have done... Before i could go back to buy my first item at around 7 minutes we were already down 7 kills. 5 minutes later we are down 12 kills and my lane, whom i only died once to, is now 5/1 in the time it took me to which leaves me no way of fighting him. The worst part is he isn't even the most fed person on their team, so I am 0/1 with pretty crappy farm since my lane opponent can now 2 shot me. We are at our inhib in all lanes and one of our nexus turrets is gone, it is 17 minutes... What can i do to win that?

Second game, Lee doesnt take smite... Kat and Yi realized this and began fucking all lanes as aggressive as they could. Me and cait tried to win lane but when 4 ppl dive you under turret for the 4th time... what can you do?

Seriously please tell me what i can do instead of "oh there is always something you can do" because that doesn't help me, hindsight is always 20/20, its too late to change what happened how do i stop it from happening again...

Edit1: Just played a game, one guy bans another guys champ on purpose to troll him. That guy then says he is going to feed, and he does. He doesn't only feed his lane but the enemy jg and my lane. So instead of immediately giving up i tried and you know what? we started to come back, but nope we couldnt pull out of the shit hole he had dug.

Edit2: Just played a game, the enemy team had an AFK, they put up a valiant effort but our numbers advantage allowed us to push several lanes at once and win teamfights. They had no jg pressure (it was their JG who AFK'd) and our Kindred got a ton of stacks very quickly allowing her to basically 4 shot most opponents. There was a moment when they almost got to our base but then we grouped and destroyed them. There was not much they could have done against us.

How did your opponent get fed in the first game? Roaming or crap jungle initiations?

Feel free to downvote... We both know its true, right now in the current state of the game when one team gets a significant lead early on it almost never becomes a come back. Sometimes the game is over before you personally had a chance to effect it.

I agree with this thread so much. Some people in Gold don't know (or remember) the terror that is facing down a Shaco that ganked top and bot until he has half his build finished and 5 levels on you before coming mid and casually eviscerating you with like... one spell and an auto attack.

I hate people as well that say we're just whining. Like, what the fuck am I supposed to do at this point? Rush Zhonias? Play Safe? Help other lanes? Rushing Zhonia's is an oxymoron because it takes forever to build it, playing safe doesn't help when someone can 2-shot you, and aside form babysitting the other lanes constantly, how the fuck are you supposed to know they need help? Be clairvoyant? Know exactly when and where this guy is going to come from? Even if you ward, that doesn't mean everyone else does, especially if you're bronze, and if only one person and the support wards... well, the map isn't exactly going to be lit up like a Christmas tree, let's just say that.

I mean, you can't stop people from making bad choices. It's not an excuse not to improve... but seriously, sometimes someone feeds so hard and so fast, your team is put so far behind that the enemy team would need to throw for you to come back.

That's true, I was in a ranked game and my lane was doing very well, but other lanes weren't so much, their Voli got fed to the point he was some levels ahead of everyone, super tanky and several items already, even in a 1vs.5 he could still kill us... and some of us said ''we can still win'', holy shit, HOW!? He can basically kill us all alone, there's no way to win that.

i think its less about being able to win every game and more about learning something every game. like just as an example, if you're going against a shaco, and he gives you problems, then maybe try invading him early and putting him behind. or roam to a pushed lane early and try a counter gank. there are lots of games that are a loss because of other people, but i guarantee that you could learn something from the loss and get better.

That comment is both true and false. It's moreso a reflective comment that you should ask yourself during and after each game of "what do I need to do" or "what could I have done". Some games are just unwinnable, and you don't know that until there's an insurmountable lead or until it's over. It's supposed to be a prompt that makes you think out of the box. Come up with a unique solution to that specific scenario (like a lane swap or even roam) and try to apply it in the future. While you can't win every game, it does help so that you can find more ways to pull out a victory. Try to come up with different solutions each time. Sure, it's not always going to work, but at least the knowledge you've gained from an introspective reflection can help in future games.

This is what we call experience and wisdom. :)
