@RIOT Ping has recently been 4-9 times higher than normal in the past few days

My ping normally rests at a 32 ping, but it has been a constant 140 to 280 the past few days. Does this have something to do with the rotating gamemode queue?

I have contacted (and tested) my internet provider, and it is just fine. It is only poor during LoL matches.
