Overwatch is growing rapidly in popularity in Korea.

Of 23.79% user base, 14.45% came from League, while only 3.89% came from Sudden Attack, another popular FPS game.

After Overwatch came out, league lost 33.14% of users, while Sudden Attack lost 25.55%.

And? What does this tell us other than the obvious: people will of course play a new game when it comes out, especially since that new game shares similar aspects with the game they're currently playing, that being the colorful lovable character roster for League players, and the FPS gameplay for Sudden Attack players. Absolutely no data on the percentage of players who actually quit League as a result, kinda making the post pointless.

Doesn't that show percentages in hours, not players? How are you getting the player numbers?

BTW, League didn't lose as many players as you state they did. There are some people that actually play BOTH of them at the same time, and more games on top of those two. People act like someone can only play one game and that's it, even if they're both different genres.

Do you promise to come back in a month and show us whether this trend is continuing or not?

The game is new and like every damn new hyped game that gets released, people migrate to it. This chart is not telling anyone anything new unless you are a brand new gamer or just lack common sense.

What about the players who are double dipping? How are they represented in your graph?

let's see if these trends continue, right now it doesn't really mean much.
