LoL doesn't reconnect to lobby?

Right so I joined a queue and got into lobby when all of a sudden my internet starts messing up. So I disconnect and reconnect and normally it works, which it did. However when I disconnected and reconnected it didn't get me back into the lobby, and it never does. Can LoL fix this to make it that you DO reconnect into the lobby without having to wait forever? I mean on some circumstances it does but most times it doesn't so I have to end up exiting the LoL window as a whole.
