Riot letting the community implode

I don't know what is going on with the quality of players lately. It seems that since the tribunal system went down over a year ago that players are becoming increasingly toxic as they fear no punishment. To give you guys a prime example; I've played 9 games recently, 3 players of which players intentionally fed. Outright admitted to it. Usually after i'm done spewing over how these guys have wasted 20+ min of my life and report them.. i've noticed something as well. No confirmation that they are getting any punishment whatsoever. This after multiple reports. Along with the afks that are becoming more increasingly, which doesn't warrant a confirmation of punishment served... i'm starting to feel that maybe Riot doesn't have the same feeling it once did about having a well established community.

It kinda sucks that handfuls of trolls (increasing by the day mind you) are taking away the fun out of a game I have spent $$$ on and countless hours. I've noticed a big jump in toxicity, afkers, intentional feeders from this season and previous seasons. I'm at a crossroad now my friends. Do I stay with league and rough it out in the ranks, or find something else to invest in. I honestly get the feeling that Riot is putting $$$ before the community. I mean, I know its a business... and we have to make money... but at the cost of the loyal consumer that doesn't abuse the "Code"? It's relatively simple to fix, bring back the old system. We can spend hours on making new skins/content/gameplays etc... but can't (or won't) fix a simple issue as this. Come on Riot.. you're letting me down.
