7800 IP for new champs need to stop

As someone playing since season 0, I think the newish implemented system of 7800 ip for a new champion is incredibly not thoughtful to the player base in general and its only for week? So to me it seems to be just there so people waste more IP, especially because a significant amount can not be attained in a short period amount of time with out spending money. Which is all ready is kinda lame, I mean paying for champs to begin with when all should just be free is already a bad enough concept but to make them more IP through more playing is just not friendly to the player base or new players. Newish? It's over 3 years old, being implemented when Jinx was released and the same time they moved to the term "Quick Cast."

I've always understood the higher week one price to be a safety net. If the champion shows lots of bugs week one (Azir comes to mind...) they can disable them and fix them before the general player base gets frustrated with the champion.

I think they upped it cause for a while people were complaining about people buying them and taking them straight to ranked. Not sure why they don't just put a 3 day disable on new champs into that mode, but I'm not Riot.
