A very unpleasant surprise after 5 months of inactivity. (East Coast Servers)

I had to quit League back in January to concentrate on college, I've been playing league since 2011 on and off and this time around I've returned to what is probably the WORST servers I've yet to find. I'm not up to date on any info regarding East Coast players and I'm pretty sure many have written complaints such as this, but how is it possible that back in 2011 I had 90 ping stable and in 2015 I'm running 150+?. BUT this is on another level, this isn't just bad ping anymore THIS IS HORRIBLY unstable, not only do I have to play with 150+ constant ping, but random spikes occur on a regular basis, game randomly disconnects, kicks me out and then calls me a LEAVER.

Back when I last played, RIOT had acknowledge the problem and said they were working to optimize the servers and considering relocating them, since then apparently nothing has been done and the problem is worse so I can only assume RIOT has given us the middle finger. If that's the case, it's a sad day, I've cannot and will not support a game that gives unfair advantage to a group of player while another is completely ignored.

Many of my friend opted for LAN, I REFUSE to move to LAN, why should I have to pay to move servers? I refuse to support a developer that doesn't care. \rant

TLDR: Servers are worst than ever and RIOT seems to not care :| It's a very frustrating environment for many players. After such a long time one expects to come back to at least minor improvements not downgrades!

Comparing the servers now to how they were back 5-10 months ago, I'd say they're far better than they were, at least for me. I used to run at 120 ping constantly and had several spikes in each game that sent me north of 300, often times into the thousands.

Then Riot cut some deals with internet providers and made the game streamlined in connectivity in addition to adding servers and further infrastructure. Now I sit at 80-90 stable, I get extremely rare spikes in peak hours when everyone in my house is online.

I genuinely can't believe that you're having the exact problems that went away for me when Riot expanded the servers and added ISP partners months ago.
