A Suggestion to Help Deal with Players that Ruin Ranked Matches for Us All

We all know that feeling of winning your lane feeling good then looking at the score and wondering why the enemy bot lane is 10/0 and has taken your inhibitor by 20 mins into the game. Maybe I'm exaggerating though, it could always be that project yasuo mid lane that somehow managed to feed 4 different enemies on his own because surprise he just bought yasuo for the cool skin and not because he knew how to play him. This doesn't even begin to cover the trolls that try to explore the enemy fountain, 1v1 a turret before minions spawn, or shout "who wants some kills" as they dance in the middle of the enemy team. Last but not least there are those lovely afk players that make it through the ranked draft pick only to never leave the fountain. All of these players turn the rest of us into toxic, violent, and severely pissed off individuals on a regular basis because the way the game is means weeks of hard work climbing can be thrown away in 20 minutes because of one person we cannot control. Therefore I propose a solution to take as you will.

If at any time a player meets ALL of the following criteria: -Has Scored 1 or fewer kills in each of the past 5 ranked games -Has Scored 10 or more Deaths in each of the past 5 ranked games -Has Scored 3 or fewer assists in each of the past 5 ranked games (essentially 5 consecutive ranked games of Scores 1/10/3 or worse)

Alternatively If a player at any time meets the following criteria: -Has a Score of 0/0/0 for each of the past 5 ranked games

The player should receive a penalty which forces them to play 5 normal matches before they can play ranked matches again. After the 5 matches they return to normal ability to play in ranked until they receive the penalty again. This is reasonable as even in the small chance that the player is actually that bad to go 5 ranked games 1/10/3 or worse, they are then merely forced to gain more experience in the game before entering ranked matches again and potentially bringing others down. Since the penalty requires five games in a row exhibiting these abnormally bad scores, this system should not penalize a player wrongfully as it is extremely unlikely that such a player would not have at least one game where they got more than 3 assists and or more than 1 kill or less than 10 deaths thus resetting the timer.

Essentially what this helps deter in ranked games:

-AFK bots/AFK people/ Rage Quitting players -Trolls -People intentionally lowering their LP by feeding in order to lose games and get lower/easier elo -People who are not quite ready to play ranked dragging others down (includes people that buy lvl 30 accounts to skip the wait for ranked, people who use friend/sibling accounts to play ranked, people that try characters for the first time in ranked, and people that are just really bad at the game)

In my opinion this will also help deal with issues related to reporting other players. If a player is just bad at the game and loses 5 games in a row in ranked at such low scores the odds are that they would start getting reported by upset teammates for any number of reports ranging from intentional feeding to Leaving the Game. This system would help bring them back into normal games to get a little more practice outside of ranked where they are less likely to rack up more reports which could result in bans that would be ultimately unnecessary.

Lastly to the counter argument that players would end up wrongfully blocked from ranked due to their teams making them have such consistent bad scores, this would actually probably help the player. If the player is in fact on a streak of terrible losses in ranked due to other players (which i doubt but who knows) the wise choice would be to take a break from ranked and cool your head a bit. This would probably save the player from continuing to play ranked games while upset where they could continue to lose more of their LP and potentially drop in rank or drag other players down by beginning flame wars in the chat for entire games, reporting other players wrongfully, and whatever else we all know we do when we get tilted in ranked.

Just my 2 cents
