Game loading screen

when i play league of legend i have fairly bad computer and it lags understandable, when in loading screen it is really bad that it has no loading animation i was in a game i was wondering why game took so long to load so when i was in a game with a friend 8 minutes in the game he called me on Skype telling me i wasn't connect i dis connected so i exit out rejoin reloaded and it was 9 minutes in, after that match i'm now in long Que 20 min to play a game i'm scared to play because i don't know if the game will start or not and get banned please help, i don't care if it is a little bar under the champion u pick just anything showing me that the game is still loading fine and it didn't crash or frezze
