Hextech Champion Shard Suggestion

Just an idea though I doubt Riot will even look but like many people, I have every single champion so all the champion shards are completely useless to me. I think there should be something else we can do with those shards besides just take up space.

How about for those that have all the champions, instead of rerolling to get a permanent champion, we can trade in 3 champions to get a key fragment. We'd still need 3 of course to form a key but then those champions aren't sitting there for no reason.
