Do ribbons even exist anymore?
I haven't seen a red or green ribbon in a long ass time, let alone a blue or yellow one, and in addition to that I have like 414 teamworks. Are ribbons even a thing anymore?

Riot decided to make them so incredibly rare that you see more Challenger players than ribbons. I don't know why, but then again, I never understand Riot's decisions.
I would say the ribbon system is broken for a number of reasons. You really don't know the ratios, you can't force others to be compliant, and you get dinged for reporting toxicity? Plus as the number of folks without ribbons grows, that means that they are also less likely to give out honor because they don't believe in the system. If you want an honor system to work, it doesn't take an explanation. Simply show the number of times an account has been honored, show the number of times reported, and show the number of times the account has reported others. Math like this takes no interpretation. People will see who gets reported. People will see who gets honor. People will see who reports "too often".
Right now, people couldn't care less if they are reported because it has no consequence, outside the minuscule number who get an account suspended for 15 minutes, 3 days, whatever (never happened to me, so no idea). Plus you have to wait some amount of time before a tribunal gets around to you. But if I could see those stats I mentioned, then have a button that says, "Don't match me with this account", then the toxic players will self-limit without any "Tribunal". More and more people will simply not want to play with someone who gets reported all the time, or who never honors others, or who always reports others.
Again, the answer is to simply show the stats and have a matchmaking system that lets you opt out of being teamed up with an account. Simple solution. Consider this an enhancement request!
