Unresolved lore holes and continueity errors.

So thought I'd list a few lore problems since I saw the thread about blackrose.

.1. The Blackrose.

The blackrose is described as a shadowy society that leblanc is a part of that once took part in manipulating Noxus to further thier own goals. As it stands, they fell out of power, with leblanc seeking to restore it to it's former glory. As of now, two members of the blackrose are known. Leblanc, and Swain, who was a former member.

.2. The freljord event.

With the reveal of Lissandra being an evil ice witch, the freljord plunged into was contesting who would serve as the ruler. Currently the sides are, The avorosan, led by Ashe Winter's claw, led by Sejuani and The Iceborn, Led by Lissandra. Despite a rather hefty buildup leading to the event...Nothing really happened and the war has gone on for over a year now with no real resolution. Since it does not appear we'll be having a freljord event this year....It seems this is yet another on the list of unresolved lore threads.

.3. General Du Couteau

General Du Couteau is Cassiopiea and Katarina's father, as well as the mentor of Talon. The general served as a prominent Noxian leader....until mysteriously vanishing. Swain is heavily implied to be involved in it, but once again this plot is unresolved and is doubtful it ever will be.

** .4. Swain's involvement in causing the Demacian-Noxus war.**

Starting to see a certain someone popping up alot? That's good...because as the leader of Noxus, Swain seems to have his fingers in every pie you can think of. Before thier discontinuation, the journal of justice put up a few hints that Noxus's previous leader....did not die from natural crossbow attacks in demacian territory. As the previous leader was a well known shut in who rarely left the city, a sudden trip through the demacian countryside seems a little out of character from him. And guess who benefited most from his sudden death? That's right, the noxian grand general himself, Jerico swain. Ontop of that, Swain almost immediately declared war on Demacia, drawing further suspicion onto his true motives. I really like this little thread of ideas, and I'd love to see how it turned out.....except I haven't heard a lore related thing about swain since I joined that didn't involve selling skins.

.5.Caitlyn's rival.

This one's a bit less detailed, but taken from her lore. Since before Caitlyn joined league she's been hunting down a catburgler who's managed to avoid her at every turn simply named 'C' at this point. It's nice having a rival for her....but there doesn't seem to be any champ or lore that gives any hint who it could be. And before anyone posts...It's not jinx. Jinx seems more like Vi's rival, and is not nearly subtle enough to evade capture. And she's not described as a subtle cat burgler who leaves behind cards.

.6.Why is X in the league?

There are a large number of champions who seem to have very good reasons for being in the league of legends. Others...not so much.

Lissandra want's to conquer the world entirely. So she joined league where her abilities and ideals are inhibited.

Nami came to shore to find a rock that was absolutely necessary to save her people....And then she suddenly joined the league.

Syndra wants unrestrained power. So she joined league where her power is restrained and limited.

Rammus...is just kind of there. He doesn't really have any drive or motivation.

There are quite a few others...but these are the ones I've though of so far.

.7. Is jarvan actually leblanc?

Another one from the joj...and implies some pretty dark things. One of the images shows Swain and Jarvan battling...but if you zoom into Swain's chestplate, where Jarvans face should be reflected, you see Leblanc. The fact that Demacia could one day be led by a previous, or possibly current (it's a bit unclear) ally of swain's tells a pretty dark story for the future.

.8. Wtf is going on with the void?

So...we have five champions related to the void. We have malzahar, who accepted the void's madness into himself...Kassadin who rejected it. We also have Kog'maw and Kha'zix, two beings who seem content just feasting on anything within reach. And then we have cho'gath. Cho'gath has been described as a being of destruction and hunger, but also of an amazingly high intellect. And yet...not a single time has it ever attempted to escape it's bindings from the league of legends, where it's held prisoner. You see, all champions when summoned are briefly sent through the void...and who knows what kind of effect that might have. What exactly Cho has been planning this whole time is rather chilling, since it's likely going to be big once it finally happens. And yet...this little threads been open since he was released. Unless they reworked his lore and I'm unaware of such.

** .9."Terror is coming.....Daaaddy is coming"**

One of Kog'maw's quotes and yet more on the void. Not much to this one...but we have no real information to work on other than Kog'maw having a father...and he's coming at some point.

.10. The shadow isles.

What are they? What happened to cause them to be full of the undead? Who is the ruined king?....Nobody knows besides Riot, and they don't seem to keen on sharing.The altars give a hell of alot of teasers, but nothing beyond that.

.11. Is Veigar actually evil?

More of a fan theory than a lore thing..but an interesting one nonetheless. Some people have given thoughts at Veigar...not actually being evil, but simply craving the attention he was denied for so many yearsand seeking it through whatever means his cracked mind can think of. Let's look at some of the facts.

-1. Veigar is currently one of the most powerful mages in all of Valoran. This little bit is important for later.

-2. Veigars actions and quotes are very much over the top. Even to a level beyond what 'silly' champions have. Frankly he sounds very hard like he's trying far too hard to sound evil.

-3. Veigar stole the mothership. In an action that was most definitely going to get him a load of attention, he stole Bandle cities mothership. However, despite his status as one of the most powerful mages in Valoran...he was stopped solely by Teemo. Do you really believe that Veigar, completely unrestricted by the league and free to blast that little powderpuff into oblivion would be stopped by teemo? Without serious injury befalling either of them? It could be an attempt to make teemo look awesome..but I don't have any doubt in my mind that if Veigar were truly evil...teemo would be a smudge on the road to bandlecity if Veigar wanted him dead.

.12. What was Varus guarding? (Submitted by Ryukudo)

Not much is really told about it..other than it being evil and corrupting him with it's power.

.13. Plot holes by Jesonomi

Will Ahri ever get enough energy in her orb? When she turns fully human, will she still have her magical powers? Who the is Amumu and what happened to him? What happened to the girl that helped Alistar escape? If Anivia is part of the Freljord, why do her memories conveniently fade? What can she do to guide Ashe? Why did Riot even bother making her literally part of the Freljord? Is Annie even going to grow up at all? What is Blitzcrank's goal? They redid Trundle's lore because it had no conflict/was solved in the lore, the same applies to Blitz. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH BRAND, XERATH, NOCTURNE, FIDDLES, AND ALL OF THE OTHER CHAMPIONS WHO ARE IN THE LEAGUE AGAINST THEIR WILL WHAT IS THE ****ING POINT THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MOVE ON IN LORE EVER UNLESS RIOT PULLS SOME DUMB CONTRACT AGREEMENT OUT OF THEIR ASSES

.14. What's up with Shaco?

According to Ram Steed in his JoJ interview with Shaco, he was seen with High Ranking League Officials....when Ram asked why, Shaco only said he "didnt like that question".

What's up with him, and WHY does the League allow him to be "free" even though he's wanted for murder in several nations?

Dont forget he tried to kill Ram Steed too.

.15. General questions/plotholes

Who was the man with the red eyes that killed Miss Fortune's Mother

aatrox is one of five remaining Darkin. what are they doing/ who are they/ where are they?

where the hell is irelia's brother zelos?

what happened to fizzes city? why/ how did they disappear?

how is it that teemo can spend time away from other yordles and be unaffected but veigar and lulu have completely changed when they were alone?

who's the witch from vayne's lore?

in nasus' lore it states that champions are needed to protect the people of this world. why do they have champs like thresh and elise? is there some being or event in their world that is so threatening that they need all they can get? if so, what is it? could kog'maw's quote "terrors coming, daddys coming" be a sign? is this what they need everyone for? or maybe something on the shadow isles we have yet to know about? or maybe another threat that is unknown to us?

also, morgana and kayle are beings from somewhere else. what is it called? furthermore, why did one pick demacia and the other noxus? they cant fight each other out of the league so why pick sides? do they really care since it doesnt affect them? OR does it give them a reason to fight each other if a war were to break out?

jax has probably the most unclear lore. all it says is he is the "champ" and before he was a soldier-for-hire and the only one who knows why he did it is the FORMER league leader. so really now no one knows since hes not in that position anymore. so why was he a soldier-for-hire? what was his purpose?
