Does anyone else think the new leaver ban system is dumb?

First of all, yes, everyone knows leavers suck, you usually dont win when someone on your team leaves. But that being said, if someone leaves your series match game and throws, you still lose your series match. No lenience unless a few ppl leave. So basically, Riot wants you to have fun by punishing the people who leave unfinished games, but if Riot doesn't care if you get punished by someone leaving. Why one or the other? Riot doesn't want it to be fun and fair. Personally I think losing a series match to a leaver is much more annoying and fun-killing than someone leaving my norm game. In fact having someone leave my norm game doesn't really bother me at all.

They kind of took leaving and said "Wow, that is really annoying as a player", which it is sometimes, but only in a ranked game where winning or losing actually matters, and decided to make this Huge deal about it, threatening players with month, 3 month, and perma bans, for continuous leaving. Honestly all you would have to do is give loss prevented status to players in ranked games who get a leaver on the team, and ban leavers from playing ranked games for however long. Can anyone else think of a video game where you can be permanently banned from the game for being interrupted too much? I cant, and I think its a really extreme action to punish a gaming community like that. Because its just that a GAME, and yeah leaving doesn't improve the fun-factor but its really not ruining the game, unless like I said its a ranked game, but even then there's a much more rational approach to that.

Lastly I've never played a game where I am so constantly plagued by connection errors. Let me tell you Riot has no love for hotspot users. I can't think of any other game where I am disconnected I'd say once out of every 5 or so games. Sometimes I can get right back in, sometimes I cant. And now they are saying I could face extended bans because of it? >.> Totally unfair. And lets talk about Time Warner Cable, the mainstream corporate ISP FROM HELL. I used to use TWC, and let me tell you, the internet service they provide is complete garbage. I would literally get disconnected from almost every game, usually for at least 5 minutes. Oh yeah and its basically the only ISP in my area. Almost every person I've met who uses TWC complains of the same problem, at least once an hour they are disconnected from the internet and have to restart their router. Maybe its not the same for TWC users nationwide (or whatever area the bring service to) but a lotttt of people I know complain about it. Looks like you are going to end up perma banning areas of the country, including central NC. All in the name of keeping the game fun and fair? This was a very, very poor solution in my opinion. And its certain not going to increase overheads, if you know what I'm saying.
