Why is the mmr system so bad?

I was silver 3 last season and I just picked up going back into ranked and im getting matched with teammates that have below 100 normal wins. These people just hit level 30 and have been playing for less than a month. Why am I, a player of 2 years, getting stuck with these people?

Its just me pubstomping my lane and then either winning because the other lanes got lucky, or me spending 50 minutes trying to carry a game where the enemy top and mid laners are fed more than me. This isnt helping me as a player and it isnt where i belong in ranked.

Well, last season, your MMR was likely lower then what your current rank was, your win rate was below the average, so the system thinks that is where you are, with people who have around 1000 MMR, which is likely where the put the brand new players.

If you are stomping, you should be winning more than you lose. This will increase your mmr until you face people of the mmr you belong in.

i honestly cant even play ranked. This is literally worse than listening to teemo's laugh as a torture method. Im being placed with people who just hit 30 on my team and people who are ranked high bronze to low silver on the other team. My teammates get destroyed in lane and lose 4 of their turrets by 15 minutes then they go on tilt and afk because they have no experience in trying to come back. Ill give them advice on how to come back and what to build and they'll tell me to fuck off and build 4 negatron cloaks on kalista.

Im honestly considering quitting the game because the ranked system has gotten significantly worse and worse each season ive been here. Either than or im going to be placed in low bronze where i can actually carry because everyone is bad not just me having new teammates.
