Placement games

With season 7 not far away, it'll not be long until we need to play 10 placement games to determine our new rank.

I understand it uses season 6 MMR to help calculate your rank along with win loss.

It looks like I'm going to finish mid way through silver 5 or possibly I'll get to silver 4. I heard if you played in season 5, season 6 massively reduced most peoples ranks. What do you think it is going to do this season?
