General Question: Is it ok to trash talk a little if it helps you win?

So basically the title, i've seen this talked about too in the league episodes of 101 some people saying they do it to win.

Long story short, I was smurfing playing Dr.Mundo and I'm not usually a toxic player anymore on my main. However I do know how big trash talking effects game in lower elo

For ex: Trash talk in Diamond you'll get muted and reported, Trash talk in Gold - Silver - Bronze , people will afk, intentionally feed, focus you and just rage hard

I played a game as Mundo where I antagonized the other team but asking them why they kept camping top and all that stuff, the last fight of the game

every single one of them ulted me, VI ulted me, Viktor ulted me Gnar single man ulted me and they basically all just focused me, TWO of them ignited me. I ended up dying but not after we aced them because our Twitch adc got a pentakill and nobody else on my team died because they wasted everything on me.

I've used this strat a couple times as Mundo, there's even a "toxic mundo" skin to look cool with it. He's a perfect champ to do it with

Only problem is, i've been reported a lot because of it, I still say GG at the end and give advice like "don't let emotion take over" post game. they report me and i get warnings but it's pretty much freelo.

Is this against the rules or not? Anyone can answer my question pls?

I do this sometimes, I just try to make sure it's not super negative and offensive. Like "Yeah, just keep camping top, that'll show me" is something I'll say often, but I try to stay away from "Wow, you suck, can't do anything but camp top, can you? Learn to play the game, noob".

Depends what you say really. If you're being an asshole about it, yea I think you should be reported, but if it's just some friendly trash talking like 'Keep 'em coming' after getting a double kill or something I see that as done in fun, not maliciously.

If they're gonna rage, might as well take advantage of it. Half of winning in Solo Q is getting the enemy team to give up or tilt off their gourd.
