Shoutouts to all the junglers (or: Happy Ganksgiving!)

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I'd like to give props to all the junglers out there. I know that it's a high-pressure job and people yell at you a lot if you don't make the entire team happy, but I just want you to know that I'm super grateful every time you come through bot lane to serve us up a piping hot plate of the enemy ADC with a side of support (and if we're lucky, a dragon for dessert!).

When I first started playing League of Legends, I learned how to play from a friend of mine who would pick jungle just to cover for my newbie mishaps in lane. It wasn't until I started playing frequently without him that I realized how much I had depended on my jungle to keep me in the game and let me focus on trying to win lane. Thanks, Louie!

Also, as a Thresh main, I'm extra-thankful for the junglers out there who blindly trust my ridiculous lantern dive gank attempts and are forgiving when they (inevitably) fail. Trust me, the five times I accidentally lead you to die under the enemy tower are worth it for the one time we pull off something out of a KR solo queue highlight video.

So here's to you, junglers! May your ganks be praised, your mistakes forgiven, and your Baron smites true. Everyone else, hug your jungler and tell them you're grateful for them (so that you don't have to do their dirty work :P ). Happy Ganksgiving!

What are you thankful for this year? I'd love to hear some of your stories (League-related or otherwise)!

I'm thankful that we still have the few supports still in the game. Without out supports, who will ward? Who will give health, mana, speed, etc. when needed? Though there may be few, have a happy supportsgiving.

Our mains: Braum Janna Leona Lulu Nami Sona Soraka Taric Thresh Kayle Zilean

Our secondaries: Alistar Anivia Fiddlesticks Galio Gangplank Heimerdinger Karma Lux Morgana Nunu Orianna Zyra Shen

To the supports who are not supports: Blitzcrank Nidalee Sion Yorick

And to those 5 people who chose support in team builder.

Thank you.

I'm thankful that thanksgiving was over a month ago!

I'm also thankful for that awesome Brisket I made last night. Brisket sandwiches are heaven on a bun. It does not get better than that, it really doesn't.

I'm thankful for the new Sion, and his infinitely stacking health. If he were me on thanksgiving he'd probably break 9K.

For this Ganksgiving your jungler is serving: Slow Roasted Anivia with sides of mashed Potatoes from Braum farm and gravy made from the jungle creeps liquid animal fat straight from Udyr survival kitchen, Leona is bringing the apple crumbly and Pantheon will be serving up some pumpkin pie, Teemo will be bringing mushroom casserole, Gragas is bringing the soda pop, while Sona is playing some lovely music. Sion ,Chogath ,Renekton , Rengar ,Khazix, and KogMaw are having a food eating contest all the while.Morgana tried to make some turkey shaped cookies but nearly burnt down the Institute(dear summoners save us all).Annie and Brand helped light the Ganksgiving Bonfire. And all throughout the night the champions of the Institue of War had a blast..... no wait, that's Jinx loading fishbones with food........ Oh Sh*t!!!!! DUCK FOR COVER!!!!!

I've tried jungle; it's my second worst role (curiously, my worst is ADC while I play Support the most. Go figure).

I'm grateful to all the junglers and fillers out there that take that role so I don't have to. I'm thankful each time you visit my lane, and give me/us an advantage. I'm also thankful each time you show up in another lane; you're the glue that holds our presence in the Rift together.

I'm not so thankful of junglers, but I'm still playing Beginner. Every now and then we get a player who just has to be the jungler, leaving the top laner to deal with two enemy champions solo. Because, you know, the AI doesn't jungle. Sure, it's good experience to try some jungling in Beginner, as long as you remember that top lane situation.

Someone who calls "leash" needs to keep in mind that a lot of players in Beginner don't know what that is yet. Someone asked me to leash, I killed one of the smaller minions, and he yelled at me for kill stealing. Sorry, I didn't know you needed the XP that badly. Now I understand the starting jungle situation. But keep in mind, while I'm helping you, I'm falling behind in the top lane, where I have to deal with two enemy champions mostly solo.

So yes, I'm not a jungler enthusiast so far. I'm sure they're very important in PvP. Right now, I'm thankful for the occasional good top laner, because I'm not a good top laner so far. (But I've been getting better in the middle and bottom lanes.)

I'm thankful for Rammus <3

It was a friendly custom game with my buds when the enemy team was trying to do baron. we were losing by a tower and 5 kills and defeat seemed inevitable. I was Playing Rammus and i began rolling towards the pit to attempt a smite steal. the whole time i was screaming in skype "DONT WRY GUYS! I GO DIS. I WAS MADE FOR THIS. I GOT DIS!" I walked into the pit. smited. and got baron. it is the only smite steal i have ever gotten. ever. we lost the game anyways.

I'm thankful that a lot of players i played with lately prefer having fun over winning. I haven't had so much fun since like season 2 (excluding gamemodes)

Thankful for everyone who play or played this game no matter how good are you or how bad are you. We keep this game going and I am really thankful for that. Hope we can keep this game going as long as it can be.

I'm a mid-laner main, but I play jungle frequently because I enjoy the roaming play-style. I've really been enjoying the new jungle too. I've been playing champs who were excluded from the jungle meta-game for sometime like Poppy, Fizz, or Akali (Akali being my main champion in general). I love how well the new jungle works because trailblazer opens up the jungle to A LOT of champions that previously just couldn't keep up with the Udyr's, Lee's and Yi's. Also the choices it gives to counter-playing other junglers (things like poachers or skirmishers) are really enjoyable and fun to add to your play-style!

Thanks Riot for The New Diversified and Awesome Jungle!

I just had one of the worst matches as part of a team, I can recall in a loooong time, the jungler was stoned (literally), top laner was getting slaughtered, probably due to a 'tuning' error on Eve, so she essentially had 'free' q to harass with, mid were having a lot of trouble adapting to the champion, so his/her mechanics were rubbish, and obviously weren't doing so hot. The support wanted to go all out constantly, even when behind, leading to way too many deaths for little to no apparant reason.

However having spent several thousand rounds playing the most Admired champion ever to grace the Fields of Justice, I've come to appreciate his powercurve.

Being so far behind, and with a team that had no coordination I was finally given the opportunity to truly Shine. Not having to worry about any of the subjects I've written so much about over the last year, lane types, play styles, wave manipulation, peeling, kiting, counters, tactic, overall strategy, synergy, cons and pros of everything.

NO!!! Welcome to the League of Draven where I shall bloody well carry my whole team (as long as they don't get in my way) even if it means going 1v3 again and again and again sacrificing kills for deaths, knowing it will tip the scale in my favor, and for once getting to play as Draven is supposed to be played.

I'm thankful for the whole team.

The Top Lane Tanks who shield their team from damage

The Mid Lane APCs who makes their team a force to be reckoned with

The ADCs who lead their team to victory

The Supports who heal, shield, and sacrifice everything for their team

The Junglers who have the backs of every lane.
