Ok, this isn't a post to say tryndamere is OP but recently I've played against a lot of tryndamere's and have been destroyed, I've looked around for counters and people are saying use CC but if your on top lane, there not too much chose as far as I'm aware, I tried Lissandra, didn't work. and I prefer to take teleport other exhaust top. So I'm wondering what my options are?
- Be patient. Wait for the wave to thin out and be semi close to your tower. When you get to about 50% bait Trynd to fight you. You should be able to AA and Stun him into using his ult.. save your E until you're quite slow so he keeps fighting you. When he ults if your stun is up, use it and then eat him. If your stun isn't up just eat him. Hold him as long as possible and walk to your turret if possible. Face a direction he cant escape from. Spit and Q immediately. That way if the W doesn't kill him the Q will.
You will need some AS items to make this work but otherwise build HP + Armor.
Your best choice would be too pick a champ the can burst him so bad it forces his ult and he has too leave lane. at the time he leaves lane that would be ur best time too leave lane and restore your energy or prep at base too return too lane, then you want too burst him again while he has no ult for a kill that way u can snowball, also having a good jungler can make that process 30% easier. 
but always be aware of His cool downs and try not tower diving unless ur 100% sure of a kill cause some tryn go 45% cdr and u can never know when he has ult.
all good vs him... some of them are a skill match up some can start to out scale him and use cc to lock him down.. some are able to out trade him early and get easy kills on him

don't 1v1 him, rush armor. he's up there with jax as one of the most bullshit duelists in the game, and pisseasy to play on top of it. your job is to survive and make sure he does not get kill gold and hope for ganks or your first powerspike which will be much bigger than his with equal farm and gold gain. then in teamfights you are to pretty much focus him and make sure he can't do what he wants to, which is to dive the backline and tank with his full squish build and take 3 of you with him. you don't counter trynd, he counters you.
edit or just pick shen, he pretty much shits on the bruisers with his w and tankiness.
He has no poke or short trade skills. He has little sustain if you deny him the chance to keep attacking minions since he needs rage for damage or health from q. Pre 6 he can be easy to kill. He also it that great in team fight and is meant to split push, so keep map pressure to force him to defend.
