I learned something today from you, Riot.

You taught me that I've been playing video games wrong this entire time! I always look for complexity in games, and try to challenge myself -- but that's entirely fucking wrong, and that's also why I have over 4,000 games in silver! In order to be successful in video games, in life, in anything... you have to act as if you are literally incapable of complex thought, and take the most simplistic route available.

Guild Wars 2? The best damage is done by auto attacking and AFKing.

League? The strongest class in the fucking game is ADCs who are also the easiest.

Overwatch? The strongest comp is the most simplistic one.

Console games? Simple stories (or non-existent ones), simple combat, simple everything.

Thanks for that lesson, Riot. Now I know that I'm wrong for believing ADCs should not be rewarded so much more than everything else in the game because they can right-click on people. I see that right-clicking is a fucking art form, and only very talented people can do it, so they deserve to be the strongest. Skillshots? Psh. Fucking losers who want to be different.

Now I know to never play anything complex, and to always just take the simplest route, since that's the most lucrative one, and the most effective for that same reason.

"Fair and balanced." Yeah.

4000 is a lot (and a huge over exaggeration if that is your main/only account) so I checked your op.gg page;

You have use 82 different champions in Ranked this season. I suggest slimming that down to only a few per role; Ranked is not the place to find what you like if you are intent on winning as much as possible and climbing. That is the mistake I made my first season and I could not even break into Silver 1. I don't know if you're picking Fill or just switching up what you queue for, but you should seriously consider actually maining 2 roles so you have less to work on.

You play a lot. Quality is better than quantity, both in your champions played and the matches as a whole. Play fewer games per day, and use a little bit of that time to examine the actions of high tier players through their streams, LCS, and guides (or even ask on the boards). You would be surprised how much you improve and what you can learn without actually playing the game. Don't brush off advice of skilled players; even if you don't agree with or understand their reasoning don't immediately discount it, they got where they are for a reason.

Your warding is inconsistent. I see you are sometimes warding plenty and sometimes not even close. If I had to guess I'd say you just kind of forget when you're focusing on other things in a tough match. Make it a habit to check how many wards you have out, and put more down. As a Support you like to keep your Warding Totem even after Sightstone; this is very inefficient because the Trinket wards aren't as good even at lvl 18 and you can only have 3 out total anyway. If you run out of Sightstone wards and need more just recall when you can. Bronze/Silver often tell me "The enemy doesn't ward much so I don't need a Sweeper"; ok let's assume you don't kill many wards. Go with the Farsight Alteration instead at the very least, and use it on cooldown.

In your last 3 matches as Support you got 1 Pink ward down in each, and didn't have one in your inventory. You were up against stealth champions in each of those, so you definitely should have an extra on you at all times to counter them. Even in matches where there are no stealth champions to deal with it is a good idea to have an extra on you most of the time so that you can replace a killed one or put it in a better spot (such as at the mouth of the Dragon/Baron pits to clear wards).

With those guides you read and pros you watch, hopefully you can improve your Runes and Masteries. Your Runes look pretty inefficient regardless of the situation and you only have 2 pages; invest some of that IP from your "4000 matches" in more pages and good Runes for the newly slimmed down champion pool you'll be focusing on. Masteries can be changed on the fly of course so you don't need 20 pages if you don't want, but make sure you adjust for the champion and your intended playstyle to get the most out of them.

Last but not least; don't ever blame anyone else for your failure to climb. You can't improve someone else's behavior or skill, only your own. A positive attitude and accepting that you have room to improve is what you need more than anything.

Also, you like tank Supports. Have you given much thought on using a poke or utility/heal type? I was going to main Thresh/Leona when I started, but in mid/low-Silver my allies rarely followed up on my plays and I'd just die alone. Backline Supports typically die less naturally, and you can abandon a really bad teammate easier instead of feeding 2 kills.
