Report system is stupid

I got chat banned for 32 games because some dumb guy and his friends spam reported me which caused the auto ban feature to ban me. I never even said anything bad. I'm putting the video of it on youtube. It's such a joke. What kind of company that has openly admitted to how bad their community is (which will also be in the video) puts control of bans in the communities hands? Do criminals police themselves? Do fires fight themselves? Do we send an enemy country's army to fight itself? No, so why let the most toxic community in the history of gaming police itself?

Or maybe I'm wrong and this game is all just a psychological experiment into what happens when children have ultimate authority.

Multiple reports from a group don't stack against you or anything. Premades can not abuse being in a group to make sure someone is punished due to all of them reporting.

What really happened is that you've been a naughty boy regularly, and getting reported in a large percentage of your games. Not just one instance of some troll and his friends. That excuse doesn't work.

OP, you're already at a disadvantage here without giving evidence. Anecdotes will sadly not serve you here. To be frank, most people deny bad behavior while they ultimately were in the wrong. Statistically speaking it's possible you're innocent, but far more likely you're not.

Sadly it's the boy who cried wolf sort of scenario. :/

I've been chat banned before when I said absolutely nothing the whole game. Made a support ticket and got a reply from Riot "report system working as intended". Its dumb as hell but id keep recording vids showing you arent saying anything. If they ever perma panned your account id take it to a lawyer and make them refund all your money at the least.

Unless i'm reading this wrong, this isn't even that severe of a ban. A simple chat ban, not a closing of the account.

Only advice I can give is work off your chat ban, maintain composure when typing in chat, and hopefully you won't have it happen again. Good luck to you.
