I can relate better to the LoL community
All my life I've wanted to become an professional athlete, like a soccer player, basketball player, etc. I loved sports and I thought the commentators were great and all the players were funny. I would watch ESPN all the time. And then BOOM, I started playing League at the end of Season 3. A few friends introduced me and I had no idea what I was doing. At level 19 I was still playing Pantheon bot lane with 6 BF Swords. When I hit level 30, this was my favorite game in the world. I still play soccer a lot, and it's not like my dream to become a pro esports player, but I got a lot more involved with the game. I started cheering for Cloud 9, mostly because when I started watching, they had just won the 2014 Spring Split dominantly and I was entertained. The players were gamers with dark immature humor and phreak was punning all the while. This was amazing, it made me so happy, this was so much better then the sports I've been watching because these guys are real. They truly love what they are doing and are loyal to it. Current sports now players are making more than $200,000 a year, and they don't really try because they make so much guaranteed money. In esports, players try their hardest, even in solo q people want to climb and try hard. I started going on the boards a few months ago too. When I went on here I found the best part of the community, producing some of the dankest memes (and meaningful feedback on gameplay and bugs) I've seen. This was the best, I finally found a community that was like me, that I could relate too. There are to much rednecks supporting football, I'm to short to play basketball, baseball is boring (sry baseball fans), hockey is nice but the Canadians always win (#OddOne).
League of Legends is perfect, I love everybody in the community, even the person who picked Darius support in my promos to Bronze 3, even the toxic players that are so mean it's entertaining. I want to thank anybody who is reading this who has been a part of making this community better, and who contributed to the success of this game. Thank You.

P.S. The summer split for C9 gave me a mental breakdown, I was going crazy when they reverse swept TIP and GV and then beat TL to go to worlds. Balls Penta made my cry with joy against fnatic. #0-10 made my cry with sadness ;(.
