Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, but i can't find the info and am getting really curious about it

Maybe because he is dead (in some way) and Illaoi believes in a circle of life, where everything gets reborn. Nautilus (and the Shadow Isles Champions) aren't in that circle of life anymore, because they are undead (not sure with Nautilus, personally don't see him as undead)
