More like they make 13% less comebacks, scrub. If you're ready to curse your team, you already partially surrendered.

My issue with the tips is that most of them deal with the correlation=/=causation affair when they could be easing the burden of knowledge or actually helping people play better, not giving them some superstitious hope that if they refrain from swearing theyll magically play better

Lack of teamwork is what loses a game, at least in low ELO. If you're negative and cursing (especially against someone who doesn't deserve it—and no matter how dumb he may be, that 0/4/2 Mundo botlane is not feeding so much as sucking), you work to destroy the potential teamwork later on that actually matters. (Both of my last games, actually, have been completely stupid, like, behind 20 kills, and we came back and won, only to find out post-game that the enemy team was super toxic to each other.)

Cursing at teammates isn't a guaranteed loss, but it definitely helps nothing and arguably hurts your chances.

My favorite tip is "You can rename rune pages by clicking on the name when editing them." That knowledge has made me OP in my circles, wrecking all my friends.

Everyone knows that the tips are just psychological colour conditioning... the actual words don't matter, what matters is the colour of the text and the placement... they're just trying to subtly alter your mood prior to the game. That's why most of them are bland statistics that most people would barely even take a second glance at.
