Store outside of client

So I'm sure we all know that Riot's client is just a reskinned Internet Explorer, yeah? We all know how much the store tends to break yeah?

What if there was a store identical to the in-client store but outside the client with its own URL, so you could buy stuff from the store without booting up the client? Why isn't that a thing? I want to be able to reliably access the Riot Store with Firefox or from a mobile device and buy stuff. I'm sure a lot of you guys do too.
