[Icon] Twin Shadows. Rito explain what this is.
Let's take a look at some Icons.
- a staff with a bony hand grasping at a glowing orb, on an item called Deathfire Grasp. Makes sense.
- a scary glowing hat with a mean face on Rabadon's Deathcap. Makes sense.
- a blade with wind spiraling around it on a sword named Zephyr. Makes sense.
- a glowing bow named Lightbringer. Makes sense.
- what in the world are we going for here? Twin = diagonal symmetry? Shadows = hey there is a light pink and a slightly darker blue? Is it supposed to be a scroll? If so why is it cut off so awkwardly?
Now look at Aether Wisp
. Very clearly some sort of spirt thingy. You could even just have two of them swirling around each other with faces and a different overall hue and that would be so much better than a pink and teal eyesore piece of paper with a glowing temporary tattoo on its nose. This is an item that unleashes mindless jittering shades that claw at the area as they try to hunt down their pray. Let's bring some of that coolness into the item. Why is a legendary item icon so much worse in quality than
?
TL;DR -
Does nothing to convey what the item is or does. It does not communicate its role or legendary status. If it isn't going to do any of these things it should at least look really cool, but that is DEFINITELY not happening. I could understand back before
was a thing and when it wasn't sure if the item would stick around but come on rito pls.
