Lose more points than I win, yet my MMR is higher than the elo I am in? Explain.

So, I know my mmr is higher than the elo that I am in because I was at 0 LP and i lost 6 games in a row (horrible teammates of course) BUT I did not demote. IF my mmr was LOWER than my elo, then I would have demoted after about 3 games of losing at 0 LP. NOW, I'm going to need an explanation of why I am losing 23 points but winning 13 every single game. WHEN my MMR is HIGHER than my ELOOOOO HELLOOO?? 23 DOES NOT equal 13 GAME. do you understand? my r%%%%%ed cousin even understands that if i were to give him 23 dollars he knows that is MORE than 13 and NOT EQUAL.
