Why I feel bard is the direction league should take their champions
Bard is a perfect example of a champion whos power is more directly linked to the players creativity with plays, then he is with over powering numbers or extremely linear casting sequences. Of course there are people who think he is OP and of course there are people who consider him UP, but hes is perfectly fine.
Another reason Bard is quite balanced is the fact that his abilities can benefit enemies and allies. Since the beginning of league a large portion of abilities (im pretty sure 99%) of abilities could only directly benefit allies or damage enemies. Some moves like anivia's were less directly impactful but could ruin either team if used poorly/well. However we enter bard, not only does he have an "escape" that the enemy can use aswell, his ultimate can shut down allies just as easily as it can shut down enemies if not used with extreme caution, or just bad luck interferes.
Id really like to see more champions with this concept, not only because I feel that is reduces the likelyhood of the champion being OP, but allows for the "creativity" riot wants since they hate those "wet noodle fights"
