Stream Promotion Methods?

So, I'm a streamer (same as mostly everyone else that plays League) and I have a decent following for casting events (I cast with several tourney scenes) but outside of that, I have no idea where to promote my channel.

Do any experienced streamers have luck posting to boards, sub-reddits, or anything of the like to garner attention?
