It's really irritating, bums me out every time. I really wish there were some stupid surveys I could fill out so I don't have to buy another 5 dollars worth or something.

I had this problem a while ago, but I was literally 1 RP away. I had 974, and I wanted a 975 skin.
... Then Rek'sai came out and I just bought some RP, the eternum rek bundle and had some RP left over so bought my nephew a new skin.
