The coming Dr. Mundo Rework

So, I have been seeing more and more references that Dr. Mundo is on his way to a rework, and if rumors of the internet are to be believed (who knows) it is to be a complete overhaul, possibly from the ground up.

Until recently, the champions I enjoyed have been: Teemo (who they won't stop nerfing, despite being an utter joke in competitive play) Singed (Who mostly is unnoticed, and I don't mind at all) Sion (Ad, pre-rework) Garen (Tank, Pre-Juggernaut) Mordekaiser (Pre-Juggernaut) a few champs I randomly play* And Mundo.

Now, consistently, when a champ is reworked, Riot has effectively just made a new champion. (Garen wasn't changed much, but they removed is free tank stats from his W and lowered early game damage....so you have to play fairly different) They do try to maintain the core of the champion, and I have never truly faulted them for not caring or not trying. They do. But every time a champ is reworked, the people who played that champion before hand generally come to an abrupt halt. Mundo has been one of my favorite champs since the beginning of Season 3 (started late season 2, so shortly after I started the game) -

So the point of this post is mostly: Riot, please don't destroy Mundo. He is one of the dwindling number of Unique champions, who aren't "another tank" or "another bruiser" and so on. Thats what I, and I assume quiet a few otehr mundo players, love about him. He is incredibly durable, tanky, fun to play - but he is one of a kind. And that is great.

As far as this threads purpose as a forum thread, I am interested in other peoples thoughts on his coming rework, how they feel about it, and what they hope to see / to not see. Discussion of the hopes in particular may give riot some early feed back for ideas and goals on the rework!

I can't fault you man. Wish I knew the champions pre-work. They seem to be so much more interesting.
