It's my birthday tomorrow! c:
Ayyyyy! So since it's my birthday tomorrow I'm gonna be a greedy mothafucka and plug a campaign I'm doing. BUT BEFORE YOU LEAVE OR START TO SCOLD ME-- just give me a chance and read. It would mean the world to me.
- Yes, I am saving for a computer to stream. How unexpected!
- Yes, I have tried saving for it on my own, but every time that I've gotten close to my goal over the course of the last two years, something horrible happens and I need to use the money to survive. This last time I needed to use every cent to get out of a bad home.
- No, I can't just put $10 aside every day. I'm already doing that for things like a car, or to have a cushion of cash to get my own apartment. I'm sick and tired of couch-hopping. I hate taking money from others, but I'm finally recognizing that I need help.
- Yes, the website is safe. I used gofundme because I thought it was relatively well-known and I couldn't exactly use kickstarter. (With kickstarter you must have rewards that give back to donors, but the most I could do is send a box of some bitchin homemade cookies, which cost like $50 to send across the states. So it was kinda counterintuitive to spend so much; I would just need that much more in donations and I feel bad asking for so much as it is.)
- Yes, they do take a cut. From every donation they take $0.30 as well as 7.9% of the donation.
Ultimately, it would mean so much to me if you guys could help. Even if you can't donate, if you could just share the link it would be helping me so much. I don't really have any start support, so the league community is about all I have.
I've got a bunch of ideas in mind for my stream already. Events, rewards (which include those bitchin homemade cookies I mentioned earlier as well as more), and loads of other stuff. I'm going to be posting some ideas on my fundraising page in a few days, but here's a small spoiler for my pajama day idea!
Anyways, here's the link to my gofundme page. Thanks so much just for reading, and keep me updated if you share or donate. I do want to make it up to those who help.
