Surrender is a toxic game option and should be removed.
Sorry I didn't click anything when I was trying to hold off the siege so that we still had a chance.
You go in with the intention of playing a full game. It is not wasting your time by making you do that. Some people don't surrender because they realize they enjoy playing the game, and surrendering every time it looks like the other team is going to win is not fun.
Nobody is wasting your time. Its a video game that you were already using to waste your own time.
I drag the box off my screen so I don't have to see it pop up when someone surrender votes at a time that I deem ridiculous. I'm not going to put up with sore losers and people who give up easily.

I have to agree it's annoying when people don't surrender when they should. There are times when you should surrender and times you shouldn't. To all the people saying "Oh you queued up expecting a full game" yes we did, a full game where it's either super close or we are winning, not a match where you get stomped. It is wasting time when you are 20 mins in, the enemy team is fed and they have taken out most towers up to base, but instead of surrendering so people can get out of this game quicker and start a new one, they drag it out for another 20 to 30 minutes doing nothing but defending the base. Players are prepared for long games, not pointless drawn out games. Nobody enjoys dragging out a losing game.
If the guy who started the surrender vote is the guy whose fault it is that we're losing, I always vote no. Perhaps he'll learn something about personal responsibility when there's no surrender to prevent him from going 0/14.

Yet in all the games I have played I have only ever been in maybe 1 or 2 situations like that where we pull out and win and in both of those cases it's because the other team had someone go afk giving us the numbers advantage. Every single other time we have lost. Like I said though there are times to surrender and there are times not to surrender. If the game is close then you hold out and keep fighting, if the game is very very one sided then surrender. It also depends what you are playing, if it's ranked then yeah you are going to give it your all and hold on, and only surrender really if you have more than one afk or more than one troll on your team most other times you would keep going. Normal games though? There is no point holding out for some comeback win, just surrender and move on to the next game rather than waste everyones time holding out only to lose.
