Something Unbelievable Happened Post-Game

So, I just recently had a game where I had a couple of those guys being toxic to me. I was playing AP Ezreal mid, and not doing too hot in lane against a Fizz (AP Ez does pretty low damage early game, and Fizz is able to dodge most of my skill shots). These guys continually insulted me whenever something went wrong. However, I kept playing, and started doing better after I finished a couple items. They were still toxic. In the end, we ended up winning even though we didn't deserve it due to an enemy AFK.

The game ends, and we end up in the end-game chat lobby. I apologized to them for dealing the most damage to champs on the team. I then asked why they had felt the need to be so toxic towards me.

Then the miraculous happened.

The one of the two that was still in the lobby admitted that he had been wrong. He said that they had likely raged at me due to the fact that we had been losing a 5v4, and that I was an easy target, as a somewhat uncommon pick.

This is the only time I can recall where someone was toxic, and then (sort of) admitted that he was wrong. Thank you. I just wish all the others could see reason.

TL;DR

Guy was toxic. Somewhat admitted it post game. Minor victory made me happy.
