Not To Sure How To Continue My Education, Thoughts?

I am a current Computer Game Design and Development major, my end goal is to become a game designer or level designer as of right now. The school I go to is heavily program-oriented with little in the way of level / game design as it mostly focuses on programming. I'm thinking about transferring to a different school, but a lot of that program has to do with art. So here's my dilemma:

If I'm not so good with drawing and making art, can I still be cut out for level design? As a side note, are there ways to get into the game industry that involve film and video editing? If it turns out that level design is extremely art-oriented, I may switch over to a film and television degree instead.

Also, how can people get started in QA testing? That's another thing I might be interested in.
