Time and time again I see a great splash art...

only to be let down by the actual in-game model.

I understand that splash arts are not identical to in-game models. Splash arts are used to tell a story and give artistic freedom. That is all well and good but it really sucks to see a great splash art, want to buy the skin and then change your mind upon seeing the actual in-game model you would have purchased.

Arclight Vayne splash art looks amazing. It is very well done but the in-game skin does not live up to the expectations set by the art. The in-game skin is good, don't get me wrong, but I want what I see in the splash art and I just won't get that. Arclight Vayne is not the only skin to suffer from this either.

Dragon Slayer Pantheon. Fucking incredible splash art but the in-game model doesn't even compare.

Battlecast Alpha Skaner. Another skin I wanted to buy but won't because the actual model is hideous compared to the art.

Guardian of the Sand Skarner. Pale grey, aged looking skin in the art... fucking dark purple model. That's not even close! I was so excited for this skin. I love Skarner and need to get a skin... but it won't be this one.

I could keep listing but I don't feel like wasting any more time. None of these skins are bad and I know that this is just my single opinion but I really wish the models looked as good as the art. Most skins do but the ones that sting are the ones that let you down. The ones that you were excited for but ended up disappointed with.
