4K resolution monitors

Using windows 10. ASUS zenbook ux501 15.6" 4k monitor (3840x2160) Anyone else figure out a fix for the 4k resolution issue? When I view the game with 200% zoom, it doesn't matter what resolution I use in-game, it blows up the numbers.

So the "fix" i've come up with is to just add a 2nd windows user that uses the full 3840 pixels × 2160 WITHOUT any windows zoom ...and play lol on this full res user. Anyone with a 4k monitor knows full res is super tiny and tough to read/see. But I'm forced to do it this way so in-game text/numbers show properly.

I bounce between the two windows users. It's getting kind of annoying.

When Is the fix coming for 4k monitors that use windows display zoom?

Thanks.

Yes. There are two ways to do it. If you want a permanent fix, you can change your screen to a lower resolution in advanced display settings (must be 1080p or less for it to look normal).

If you'd rather not do that, you'll have to change the scaling every time you want to play League.

Copy and past post:

It's a problem with the way they changed the game to work with Windows scaling in patch 5.15 or 5.16

There is a way around it, you just need to set your Windows scaling to 100% instead of whatever it is now. If you're running a high resolution on a small screen, that will make your desktop unreadably small, but League of Legends will play fine. A good solution is to only change it right before you want to play a League game.

How to Set Windows Scaling to 100% in Windows 10:

Right click on desktop Display Settings Scroll the bar all the way to the left so it says "Change the size of text, apps and other items: 100%" Apply, sigh out, sign back in.

That will work for most people. You can easily change it back after you're done playing too.

If your desktop is not small or League hasn't changed after doing that, then:

Right click on desktop Display Settings from the menu Advanced Display Settings Advanced Sizing of text and other items Set a custom scaling level Scale to the percentage of normal size: 100% (in the drop down)

That will fix the issue guaranteed. My only real complaint is that they won't even make a support article about how to fix it when it's that simple. :/
