How to reverse your tilt?
Hi, I'm currently on a 6 game losing streak and very scared of demoting a whole tier. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks.

Losing streaks...ah yes. Feels bad man.
TL;DR - Try not to tilt in the first place: own your mistakes, use politeness as your weapon, and mute if needed. If already tilted, take a break and find something to do that can't tilt you while you get it done. Either way, only thing you can do is just keep going.
I don't think there's a one-size-fits-all option to tilt or ladder anxiety. My first step is to try to avoid tilting too hard to begin with. If I'm playing like a soggy potato, my first step is to see who on my team is doing well, and get myself used to the idea of them carrying me. If nobody on my team is doing well...then we're kind of all in it together and it is what it is (see below if things get flamey). If after a game I feel either pissed off or really discouraged, I go do something else where I know I can make progress. Weirdly, mundane chores do a decent job here; it's kind of hard to fold laundry or do dishes for a while and not get anywhere. Also, I love to cook, so calorie therapy is a common occurrence.
If people do get all rage-flamey, my first, second and last step is to be really, really polite. And no, this isn't some lovey-dovey everyone is a good person schpeel. If I'm not too tilted, I like doing it because it helps calm things down a surprising amount of the time (yay!), and if I'm already tilting I like to imagine that some guy is all grumpy and I'm just sitting there serenely absorbing it, making him madder and madder (not my finest moments...).
I usually start by accepting what I'm screwing up and admitting it. Often players will flame about stuff that's true, or at least I can see how they think it is. If I don't really agree with what they're flaming me about, I'll usually just go with something general. "FLAME FLAME INSULT FLAME", says JerkWad23. "Yeah, not my best game, sry", says Ypherion. I'm constantly surprised at how often that's all it needs.
If it keeps going, I usually ask what they're hoping to gain by flaming me. "INSULT FLAME YOUR MOTHER SOMETHING SOMETHING", says JerkWad23. "uhhh, you're kinda stuck with me for this game...what is going to get better if you keep flaming me?" says Ypherion. This helps a lot, a lot of the time. Sometimes it needs a follow up "I'll try to play safer" or whatever, kinda going back to just owning whatever you're not doing well.
If it keeps going, I usually mute the player, or my whole team. A non-trivial chunk of my job is mediating (or causing >.>) heated debates about design decisions, and even though they are far more civil, there's only so much of that effort I want to put into my League games :P.
I used to get really bad ladder anxiety when I played a lot of SC2. Aside from the game-to-game tilt which I deal with by doing the stuff above, ladder anxiety is mostly beaten by just pushing through it. It can also help to set parallel goals, like "I'm going to play 20 games as Teemo" (please don't) or "I want to play 10 games this week" (please don't ignore pets, friends or family...). That way, even if you drop some LP, or a tier, at least your making progress on something else. Losing still sucks, but it's going to happen a LOT, so play with different tricks and see what works for you.
Best of luck, I've got to go talk to Player Support about this JerkWad23 person. (I hope that isn't an actual player...any similarities are purely coincidence).
Just dont get tilted in the first place ... i know what your thinking easy for you to say you didnt just play the games i did and your right i didn'tso i don't know
But what i do know is never let a early game deficit make you think the game is unwinnable ... your team may have make and may continue to make mistakes (they may be on tilt) Tips #1 dont make the sitution worse by saying something that may tilt them( if someone says something like that to you ignore it)
#2 play proactively for your team and make those plays. ( if your behind think about roaming after a while snowball a lead in a diffeeeent lane and there lead will hopefully snowball you as well!!!
xD
oh man its late and i so misspelled that lul
#3 if your the jungler dont worry about the losing lane that is the absolute worst idea thats not to say its not a choice Your #1 priority should be as mentioned above snowball somewhere else.
Either take a break, or play some normal games as a champion you just can't tilt on. For me, that's Yorick. It's like I directly transfer my tilt to whoever I'm playing against ^^
Play a different game with entirely different mechanics (that isn't multiplayer). I usually play WarCraft 3 and just pick a random, team based custom game.
