Not flagged as red for AFK

Hello all,

I am a long-standing fan of posts regarding player behavior and I find myself browsing as many of these subjects as I can.

However, I have one concern that does not seem to have been addressed so far. Throughout my previous matches, I have encountered a couple of players who chose to spend the rest of the game sitting in the fountain. The reasons are not relevant right now, but I have noticed that none of them were flagged as "red" in the end-game screen, despite the fact that they disconnected 1-2 times throughout the game and did not seem to be taking any action other than that.

Of course, I do my job and submit the report, but I know there are many out there who get so annoyed that they just skip the end screen altogether, as fast as they can, and thus forget to report. In this case, it's possible that the culprit is not caught. My concern is the following: there are players who have mastered the skill of going AFK to the point at which they are no longer automatically detected by the system. This gives them an edge in dodging punishment. Is there any way in which the current detection system can be improved? Does anyone have any experience on how they manage to avoid being tagged as "red"?
