Does removing a champion quote "reaaallly" matter?

Does it? Riot rarely has quotes that have swearing in them, so having a quote with the word "shit" is an anomaly. Removing the word "shit" is not an anomaly.

Don't use this as an excuse to rant about 2017 PC culture or something dumb. It was unnecessary to add to the game. If it was a champion specific quote that was super tied in to lore that got removed, I would understand the anger. From my understanding the "little shit" quote isn't tied to lore and sounded pretty cringey in the first place.

lol at these people and their outrage because a made-up character doesn't say "shit."

In concept, no it does not. I agree that this would be an anomaly as no other champion swears like that, seems unnecessary to me tbh.

Like you said, way different than removing Jhin's four quotes or Sona's quotes period as she doesn't speak.

No. People are so invested in this game it's ridiculous.

Its not the line itself but more the concept. I found the "little shits" line forced and uncessary. The "Shit I broke a nail" line seemed a great joke line. They easily could havw added an option for those lines to be disabled with profanity filter on, instead of removing them utterly.

Happy the cringy line was removed. It conjures up images of Beavismand Butthead for me.

Preteens beinf like: heh heh heh. She said shit! Heh heh heh.

Also she isn't even live yet, Glad they had the good sense to rethink this before live.

Not realy since it's the internet. However it shows just how hypocritical riot has become if they don't. Just look at their summoner's code.

The quote already existed. It was removed. It then falls upon those who want it removed, to prove that it should be.

As it stands, other T-rated games have featured far worse. Removing it because she's the only one that did curse, is not only not progressive, it also detracts from her uniqueness as a character and personality.

I say KEEP ALL of her lines. Im tired of all the political correctness and baby whiny BS in today's world i love her rough edges and her sassy character its refreshing and perfectly normal. Now a days everyone has this freakishly thin skin and cant take any sort of comment that is not out of a freaking child's fairy tale book. Like seriously i was raised with thick skin i could care less if black guy called me a white cracker in fact id probably laugh my ass off. But everyone else would be crying foul and be all pissed off like child that dropped his ice cream cone.

I would ask the converse. Why does it matter that she did say "shit"?

If it shouldn't be a big deal that it got removed, then why was it a big deal to remove it in the first place?

wee-woo-wee-woo, here come the thought police, oh wait, they already left their mark. welcome to america's version of prre-nazi germany.

at the end of the day, the more we let our thoughts, media, and speech be changed and halted, the closer we get to hitlery clinton, you don't have to like everything someone says, but don't remove their ability to say it unless you truly want america to become the next nazi germany.
