Which to get, which is better? Ahri, Malzahar, Galio, and Lissandra
i`m looking to aquire a new midlaner and these are the three that strike me the most for a few reasons, fisrt of all i love unique underplayed champions (this definetly excludes Ahri). I see very little play out of Malzahar, Lissandra, and Galio even though they seem like they could be meta or at least viable. The AP carrys i own currently are Viktor, Brand, Vladimir, Ryze, Kayle Gragas, Karma, and Zyra. none of these quite hit the mark and i often play them in other positions if at all. Im currently looking for someone that secapes the meta a bit while still having a decent skill cap with a good degree of viability.
now i will discuss points about each of these midlaners that jump out to me
Ahri-
- poeple always seem to feed this champion when she is picked at low elo`s
- Very strong lane poke
- High burst
- High skillcap
- you suddenly find you are at half your HP and are soon to be turret dived singlehandedly if she lands that Charm
- Heavily played
Malzahar-
- Underplayed
- Tank Shredder
- Strong Poke and sustain
- Insane Ultimate that can set up for a kill easily
- tons of CC
- cool looking auto attacks
- passive is cool but not extremely relevant to him
- low mobility
Galio-
- very strong vs. heavy AP
- Mages cant touch him
- Very strong ultimate along with overall team utility
- Extremely Underplayed
- Simply isnt very effective against AD
- Passive gives him a viable niche where he is effective which is against heavy AP. Not great for solo Q where AD is heavy i find
Lissandra-
- My current top contender
- Tons of CC all over the place
- Underplayed
- high skillcap
- mana conservative with passive
- strong poke and all it
- Ultimate can easily set up a kill or save and ally or self
- Strong AOE
- Has to be close to enemies for damage which is very strange for a squishy AP carry
First of all, thanks to whoever took the time to read this. Im looking for discussion over which one i should get and some more discussion on the pros and cons of these midlaners. Please keep it constructive :)
