First of all, not all of you might get this pun. This post will be a long basic explanation in order for all of you to understand. Some of you might get it straightly, but some might still not get it despite of my explanation. If you don't... please no hate or downvotes. Also, excuse my poor english.

So.... Obviously you guys know there's a Katarina skin called "Kitty Kat Katarina" right? It's basically Katarina wearing cat costume for Harrowing. In anime, manga, and Japan, they make cats say "nya" instead of the "meow" we know. And this is what I found in the PBE Japanese client: http://imgur.com/VheJHCC.png"

The character on top of the skin, which is called 'katakana', is a type of Japanese character that's used for foreign names which aren't originally Japanese. Which is why they sound really similar to the original ones, for example, Hamburger is 'Hambaga' (ハンバーガー) in Japanese.

So, 'Kitty Kat Katarina' is suppose to be something like "Kiti Kato Katarina" right? since it is foreign and not originally Japanese. Guess how it reads for that skin.

Display Name : カタリニャ Pronunciation : Katarinya

KatariNYA.
