Champion Select and Support Role

Can there be some sort of IP bonus for playing Support? I am kind of tired of that role, I enjoy Supporting but I enjoy other roles and champions too. The issue is when I am not Support, the Queue is like 6-7 minutes long and thats just before i cancel and switch to Support... So its either wait forever in a queue or continue to play Support. Its getting to the point where I just don't feel like playing at all.

So maybe if there were some incentive to play Support? Like bonus IP or increased chance of loot when the hextech thing comes out. I am not saying this so I can gain more IP or Loot or whatever, I am saying this so I can play a different role... In Normals I just have one of my friends Support for awhile, but in Ranked where you need to be good at a role, I am always forced into Support simply because I am most familiar with it (its also my main role.....). I want to play other roles in Ranked too, I am fairly confident in my ability to carry as Top and Mid.
