1000th win with a rioter

Hello, I was told that having your 1000th win with a rioter was still something that could happen, so I was wondering if someone from riot could inform me more on such details, since I am currently on my 999th win. A response as soon as possible would be much appreciated, please and thank you.

Note: I did get into the PlayWithRiot chat and I was told that I have 872 wins which is my wins under the classic tab in my profile, but when in a party menu in a pregame lobby I have 999 wins with my Normal W: .... so if nothing else which do I use, since I assumed it was the Normal W: since that is what my friend had.
