I'm about to hit platinum, and I'm deploying for 6 months (navy stuff) so I won't be able to play any ranked whatsoever.
I know there's no decay in gold and below.
But if I'm plat V, sitting at 0 LP, and I don't play. Will I decay back into gold?
Yes, you can. There's not much you can do except hit up a PC cafe while in port. I recommend playing some more so you are not at the bottom of the tier/division, as you only lose 35 LP each week (after the 1 month inactivity).
Ok. Thanks for the answer. My other question is do I need to win to prevent the decay?
If I just play 1 ranked match a month, and I lose, will it reset the timer for decay?
