Resolution to Increasing amount of Bots?

In the last Month I have had at least three different Friend Requests (accepted) that turned out to be Spam bots for "GET OUT OF BRONZE TODAY" "WE WILL POWER LEVEL YOUR ELO FOR A SMALL PRICE" etc. Apparently the countermeasures to becoming another bought/boosted account ruined game are not working.

Just wanted to know if Riot has this issue even on their Radar or if I'm just gonna start having to ignore my notifications to not be driven mad.
