Adding scalings and CD times to the client

Haven't been playing very long now but one thing I've noticed is that when looking at the info for a champion in the client, there are no scalings or cooldown times to give you a better idea of how that champion plays out. A simple solution would be to just copypasta from the website into the client and add the base CD times.

Just my suggestion ^_^

I think the champion overview in the client needs a major face lift but it is defiantly not on their priority list. Most people head over to the wikia or other similar sites.

I agree. It sucks that you can't just get that information inside the client. Also, Riot needs to do a better job in general of explaining the mechanics of their game. I had to do a ton of individual research just to learn how Armor/ MR, flat & percentage Penetration, "multiplicative stacking," etc all work.

Riot, we won't show you what the champs actual mechanics are. Why would we do it, when third party cites already have it

A thousand times this.

I have taken breaks for multiple months on many occasions so far. When I come back, many champions I enjoy playing have been redesigned, or even just tweaked, and they no longer play the way that they used to.

Kayle once loved to go hybrid, now I understand she is pure AP or GTFO.

When I come back from a break and pop into an ARAM without doing extensive research on everything I have missed (which I don't do, because this is for enjoyment for me), I need to be able to click on the champion I am assigned and quickly identify if I am going tank, hybrid, AP or AD. And then possibly also decide if I am going Attack Speed or Crit, and if I am going cooldown or straight AP. Some get more confusing still and play best when you do silly things like stacking on hit effects.

But with just the in-client information... you can NOT make such decisions. I would dread to see someone playing Ryze with only the in-client information to prepare runes/masteries. There is essentially no indication that you need to stack mana!

Sure... such an occurrence is not common. But it is possible, and should be worked on. Having the code auto-parse this information is quite trivial as well (afterall, in game it auto-parses already. Just shift from showing us the end result to showing instead the formula).
