Should I quit League Of Legends?

I've spent around 100$+ on this league of legends account. The people here are toxic and too negative. There's trolls and smartasses and I can't ever get a game to play without having that one troll. I love League Of Legends, I really do. I just dodged a ranked game because people were already arguing and decided to write this. I want the community to be the way it was. I remember the olden times when I first played League Of Legends, people were nicer. Later on, people just randomly started talking shit or got cocky or even just gave up and sat there, doing nothing while there was still hope of the game. A caitlyn 2 games ago saw me die to cho'gath 1 time and called GG. I later ended up carrying them. I want the community to be great but the time being, it seems like theres no hope, I want you guys to tell me if i should leave, or if i should stay. Thanks for taking time reading this,

It's simple;

Step 1) Ask yourself if you still enjoy playing the game. If yes, continue playing. If no, continue to step 2.

Step 2) You answered "no". Stop playing the game. The point of a game is for enjoyment, so don't waste your time if you don't enjoy it.

Step 3) Feel free to open up the game at a later point and see if it's enjoyable again. Sometimes you just get burnt out from playing too much and need time away from it.

This applies to any game. Taking month-year long breaks and not getting burnt out on the same thing every day helps keep the game interesting in the long run.

I did not take the time to read it. You don't need someone else's opinion on whether or not to continue playing a video game. We are not psychic, we don't know if you still think it is fun or not at any particular time.

If it isn't giving you the same enjoyment that it once did, then it might be time to take a break. I don't know why online interactions have become so vitriolic of late, but I know that you nor I have reason to put up with it. For me, I just avoid conversation if it isn't productive. But that will wear thin eventually.

Rioters like Lyte are trying to understand online interactions and course correct the community, but that will take time to fix.

It might be time for a break, check back in a month, two, six.

There are decent people out there who just want a good game and don't make others feel bad just cuz things are going south. If you stick around, I hope you find them.

Those people that have to comment on how much money they have spent as the first thing.... Not sure why you are asking GD if you should quit.
