I keep getting reported for verbal abuse and the baddest thing i say is you guys need to do this or do that and they harass me and then report me then i get a chat restriction please fix this i should not have one
If you keep getting reported and it has reached the point where you have chat restrictions, I'm inclined to not believe your word.
If you are being reported over and over again, then you are being toxic period. If someone does not want to listen to your game suggestion, then keep your mouth shut and play the best you can and move on to the next game. No need to keep ordering people around when they don't want to listen to you because it will feel like you are harassing them.
How about you stop telling people how to play. Most in game criticism is taken negatively.
Just make a conscious effort to not chat abuse during games.

Just because you're being reported doesn't mean anything will happen unless of course you're behavior warrants it. Also Riot doesn't tell you when you get a popup what you're being reported for ever. If someones telling you they're reporting you ignore them sicne false reprots not only happen Riot disregards them and spam reporters have gotten bans up to and including perma bans.
Sorry, but I not only don't believe you, but I have little to no sympathy for your complaint.
I decided to finally take my provisionals and get into ranked play and during my 10 games I saw quite a few people who would probably claim "I was just offering advice" and they were condescending and rude with their comments. Saying "Hey you need to do this." may seem harmless, but if you put any heat into the comment it will be taken negatively.
I especially remember this in a game where we had someone go off-meta for the midlane. They were very good, but our bot lane was getting wrecked and rather than helping out the midlaner started offering unsolicited advice that was never presented in a kindly fashion. It was all "Hey stupid build attack speed." or "Why did you stick around after the teamfight, noob?" And they never stopped with the comments even as they ran from several fights leaving their teammates to die.
the funny thing was I wouldn't have reported them had they not made a comment in the post game chat that hinted that the account was a smurfed account. That generated an immediate report for verbal abuse from me. I don't mind someone being angry or frustrated, but someone who came into a Silver provisional and claiming to be better is not getting a pass from me. They were part of the same losing team I was, and can take the lumps and ask what they could have done better, not blame the rest of the team for the loss.
Tip: stop being toxic.
most people on these boards wont believe you but i do. you are getting reported bc they know the system is automated and reports stack no matter what you did. these people that jump to the conclusion that anyone whos banned or chat res deserves it are lunatics.

Same happens to me but don't worry about it. These small children who report for that are those who think they are always right and because someone called them out with the truth they get butthurt and reporting makes them feel better. Chances are their report goes right down the crapper because they do it all the time for no reason other than to help their self esteem.
People with low self esteem do not appreciate it when the truth be told.
